What is "Physiology"? Physiology forms the foundation of all medical sciences.
Human physiology is the study of the functioning of human body from the time of conception till old age under resting as well as altered conditions.

 
     
OUR MISSION & VISION  
 

Physiology "the science of life" is the foundation on which clinical medicine rests. Knowledge of the intricate workings of different body systems and their complex interrelationships forms the core of the subject. This understanding enables students to correlate between pathology of a disease and its treatment, contributing to development of the core skills of a competent doctor

Our vision remains to create a dedicated, competent and compassionate doctor whose ultimate goal is to serve humanity and uphold the ideals of our noble profession.

The department conducts an intensive academic programme for first year medical students.
The department also conducts an intensive academic programme for M.D. Physiology course having intake of 3 students per year.
Well equipped and spacious laboratories are available
Teaching aids include a computer with multi-media and overhead projector, LCD.

Teaching methods are constantly updated to keep pace with clinical medicine.
